Daddy's Book, Rob & Chris Family, Pens, Evanston, Feb. 2016

I'm Done!
1. More or less. I have finished Daddy's history, or at least have it to the
point of getting it ready to send off to the printer.
It's such a huge file, so Emily is combining my PDF files and
then it's ready. I went to Dick Capener's to get a picture, and he had it on
a CD along with this picture, which I think is my favorite picture
in the whole book:
It is of my Grandfather and Grandmother Capener taken at my
Uncle Jex's home on their 60th wedding anniversary.
Grandpa is 85 and Grandma is 83.
I would love to reenact that picture when Dad and I are that age!
2. We've had a lot of fun making pens this month. I've made them
with quite a few of you, and I have more clay to do it some more!

 3. A few Saturday's ago we ended up with quite the party.
We had Mar and his boys along with Marri & Sophie and then
Ellen and Daniel & Mike and Emily. And a lot of Chris's family.
What a party! So we decided to have a pizza party.

4. It's been too long. Your guess is as good as mine.

5. Game time

6. Noelle and Marri are both ready for Trek.

7. Someone felt bad they didn't get a trek costume.

8. We went up to Evanston on a Tuesday until Wednesday. Alaina
is taking gymnastics, so it was fun to watch her.
It was so good to see how much the twins have grown
and help out a little with bedroom changes.

9. Tom came on a Saturday and the kids a ball sledding.
I couldn't believe how far they went going down the little hill
in the back yard. Caleb was the camera man:)

10. Cambria and I were making cookies.

11. Taylor's pens

12. I'm babysitting tonight while Chris and Colleen are cleaning
the temple. Guess who is walking! Mia is so cute.

13. Zander was the camera man for the rest of these pictures.

14. Mallory practicing her song for Saturday

15. Noelle is practicing her song also

16. I don't think you can see it very well, but this is the cover for
the history of Daddy.

Thank you for all the help and consideration you have given me
while I've been working on Daddy's history of him, his parents, and his grandparents.
The whole book is about 250 pages, with about 100 pages about Daddy.
It has been one of the biggest projects I've ever done.
It was hard, yet very rewarding in so many ways. I have
had some very special spiritual experiences while working on it.

I love you all very much. It is so important to remember those who
have gone before us. They have lived their lives. They know the
difficulties and problems we face. There are so many
lessons to learn from them.

They seem to be able to give us stability because we know how
they lived and what brought them joy. We are in the middle
of discovering that.
