March and April, 2018

I just can't seem to keep up with my blog, so here are
the last two months.
March gave us more time to spend with little Luke
with Mike and Emily in the play.

Then we flew out to New Hampshire for Ben's baptism
Tesha made a Pokemon pinata for his birthday.

We broke it at the church. Besides candy there was
pink confetti to tell everyone their baby is a girl.

Ben was baptized on the 11th of March right
after church. Quite a few members stayed for it.
He's handing out programs.
It was a beautiful day.

A trip to the ocean and lighthouse in Maine.
 Little Luke

We've been teaching a little boy in Plymouth, and
his family hadn't blessed their two-year old yet,
so they blessed him the same day as his brother
was baptized. It was really neat to have them both in white.
It was a wonderful experience.

Dad's 70th birthday surprise party. Thank you so
much for all coming. It meant so much to us.

Ellen with the name-sake's of her son, Michael Joseph.

 Some weekend party pictures.
Danny braiding, Nikki's hair who is braiding Kirsten
who is braiding Elise. They
Riverside Easter egg hunt while the parents went
to General Conference.
 Baby Michael growing so big.

The kids did a skit and promised me it was really good.
It was very funny with a plot and good lesson!
Elise and Levi having fun with Luke
 Plenty of time for games:)
Little Catharine getting to know Luke
This is the first time the two Samuel's get
to actually play together.
Always time to play outside games
 Katrina and Luke
Catharine and Samuel - they finally meet each other
We had a wonderful time teaching this
little boy. His family decided it was time to
come back to church and we gave him lessons.
It was beautiful to watch the family grow together.
A weekend with Tom's kids. We had such a good time.
Our first visit with a former missionary who was on
her way to BYUI and her parents. They spent the
night with us. It was good to see her again.

We went to John's choir concert and it was fabulous.
They sang a song from Hamilton and John had the
lead solo of Hamilton. It was amazing. I recorded
the whole song. If you have John's permission, I
will send it to you.
Marion shared with us how to make ricotta cheese.
We tried it and it was great. And VERY easy.
It was so good in the lasagna soup
recipe. It was also very easy and
tasted so good. I love to get a new recipe.

Caleb helping out with the first mowing
of the season. He's really a pro now.
Samuel and Michael are asleep on our
bed. This is the quilt I made Dad
for his birthday. It really turned out well.
Sarah, the person Ellen is writing the book with who
escaped polygamy, are sending it out to agents.
We were taking care of the kids and had a great time
doing that. They all call us Grandma and Grandpa. Sarah's
mother disowned her when Sarah was kicked out.
It really is a compelling story.
Little Michael Joseph in Daniel's blessing outfit.
It was a good turn-out to Michael's baby blessing.
I know it was a sacrifice to get there for an 8:30 meeting.
 Samuel, Daniel, Ellen holding Michael.
Daniel graduates on May 5th. Happy Day!

Sometimes I can't believe how fast my life has gone by.
I'm so thankful for each and every one of you, our children,
their spouses, and our grandchildren.
I'm not sure I'll ever learn to be the mother that
matches the amount of love I have for each one of you.
I'm glad I have eternity.
I love you all. Thank you for bringing so much
joy to both of us.
