January & February 2018

I can't believe I haven't done my blog since the beginning
of January. It's been very busy!
We love having Mar and the boys up for a weekend.
I'm playing Clue with Isaac and Caleb.

Now this is quite a game. It may take longer
to set up than to play, but they had a great time
and it didn't seem too long.

One day we had Zander and Mia down for lunch and
a game of Chicken Foot. We had a great time and they
discovered we don't have to have cousins
here to come and play at Grandma's and Grandpa.s.
Caleb's class had a program for grandparents and
did a patriotic play and lunch. It was very good.

Little Michael Joseph was born on January 30, 2018

Ellen holding Michael, Samuel, and Daniel
We very thankful he is here and all is well.
Daniel had some good time off and helped
Ellen and the boys. What a cute family!!
 Playing bubbles with Samuel

Michael was born on Tuesday, and John's kids came over on
Friday. We went to see the movie, "The Greatest Showman."
We really had a great time and the kids were so good.

I had so much fun doing home school with them.

Kirsten - Ruth E. was sick and we couldn't have
watched her without help from Kirsten and Danny.
She loved holding Kirsten's hair like she does her mom's.
Danny really enjoyed reading our old history book
that was published in 1876 for the centennial celebration
of our country. If you haven't seen it, take a look
at it next time you are here.

 Some cousin game time.
 Field trip to Capener's Dairy
Ruth E. holding Kirsten's hair for her security
We celebrated Sam's birthday with a donut cake:)

Field trip to the Tremonton museum. We really had a good
time here. It's definitely worth going to.

Borgstrom brothers - One family lost 4 sons in WWII

This couch was in the Logan Temple for its
dedication for the first presidency to sit in.

One of my favorite children's books.
We read the whole thing during the week.
We finished the week with doing baptisms
in the Brigham City temple with some cousins.
Grandpa, Danny, Kirsten, Mallory, & Bekah.

 Playing at the park afterwards
 Alaina's baptism
Our family and Amanda's family
It was such a beautiful day. Alaina and Suzie are in the front.
 Suzie and Alaina
We went to the Salt Lake Temple with cousin Debbie,
A. Anne's daughter, to be with her oldest son Jake.
Katrina, Bekah, and Olivia had a "Monster Concert
piano recital. It was very good. There were maybe
13 pianos on stage and all played at once.

We were sick for the next week and missed Noelle,
Mallory, and Dusty's concerts.
Friends and Family night at the Old Barn.

March 3, baptism of a little girl we've been teaching
along with her sister and parents. We sure enjoy doing this.

I just sent out a letter today to all the family.
This month has been one of the busiest we can remember.
All the time we were taking care of family with Ellen's baby, John's kids
and Mike's Emily in ICU we still did quite a lot of missionary work.
It was almost like paying tithing and not being able to figure
out how there was enough money. The Lord truly blessed us to
meet the needs of the family while doing a lot of great missionary work.
We went to the temple three times in one week.
The Lord has once again blessed our family very much.
