July to September

We completed our mission on the 27th of June.
We have had so many wonderful experiences that
truly testified again of how much Jesus Christ loves
every one of us. We have been filled with and want to
testify of experiencing that with those we came in contact with.
July begins the month of moving! It began with going to
New Hampshire to get Joe & family, helping Ellen and
Daniel move to Logan, and ended with the biggest move
of all - us to downstairs. The junk yard and DI know us
personally now.  At least you don't to do it:)
The 4th of July with Joe & Tesha at
Grandma Halway's home.
The last Sunday at their New Hampshire home.

Little Aidan joined our family on June 24th.
We have so much to be grateful for. He has been such a
blessing to Tom & Mel and their family. Truly, babies
bring part of heaven with them.

The Jensen family reunion was a hit! The first reunion planned
and organized by Chris, Marion, and Peter (or I should say
wives?) Star Wars was the theme and it was great. It's always hard
to choose a highlight, but the light sabers made from swimming
noodles by Colleen & kids has to take it. It could be heard all around
Earley Park, "Oh, just go fight with your cousins."
It was a tremendous relief to us as parents to have the
organization and planning done by our children. Thank you so much.

 Such great visiting
 and eating
 and cousin time
 and more eating
 and "fighting"
 ahhhh, games at the cabin

making new friendships (Zach & Gabe)
Caleb, Sam, Ben, Kaden, Zander, Alaina, & Timmy
Getting ready to do Marion's Star War's skits
It was quite the show.
Thank you again for such a successful reunion.

Joe & Tesha have the upstairs and will buying the house.
It has been wonderful to see all the improvements they
are making. It's great to have them so close and see the
home so happy to be filled with children again.

Just because we live downstairs doesn't mean we don't
have room for sleepovers! Sammi is the first one to sleep overnight.

 And  David's kids: Alaina,
Robert, Eric, Jacoby and Mathew

And room to play games: Max, Cam, Leah, me, Ben & Zach
We had Tom's family up to give them some "rest" with just
the new baby at home.

Little baby Linda Jean is born on August 5th.She is such a
blessing to the whole family.

and Joe holding Catherine.

Picking apples with Joe & Tom's family

 Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes. Lind'a first
canning season.

We have harvest many grapes and berries from the
garden. We've done a lot of canning this fall.

Soccer is here, but I didn't get pictures of the games.
This is Mia's first year. She enjoyed playing goalie more
than any other place on the field.

We went on a "dry" cruise and had a wonderful time.
We went to BYU Education week, just the two of us.
We heard many great speakers, relaxed, ate very good
food and never got sea sick.

In September we made a quick trip to Arizona
and finally watched a Cub's game. The one time makes
a tradition is surely true with this. We had a great time
and plan on going again next year. It was really cool
to see the game also:)

Mike gave us tickets for Fan X. It was actually
fun to go. This is Ellen holding Samuel by David
Tenet's overcoat. (Dr. Who)

A classic picture that represents what happens if you don't
get to dinner on time. We don't wait and you run the risk of
not having much left.

The last weekend of September with Tom's kids getting
to know Joe's kids. We had a great time.

It has been one of the busiest summer and fall's that I can remember.
We feel very content with living downstairs and are very
grateful to Joe and Tesha for keeping the house open to all
our family gatherings. I feel it is a passing from one generation
to the next, and I'm so thankful our home is still part of the family.
There is so much love, memories, life lessons, and relationships
formed within these walls and grounds. We love you all.
