General Conference, Singing, Robert's Baptism, Pizza Party, Oct. 2015

Baptisms for the Dead
1. I had 7 female names, so Noelle and her friend Sarah did them
for me. We forgot to take the picture at the BC Temple, so we did it at Wendy's

2. Paul and his family came up for General Conference, and we got
some tickets for the Sat. Morning so we could go with them. We took Josh,
Noelle, and Mallory with us. They also went Sunday Afternoon.
We had an amazing time.
3. Sammi

 4. We walked through temple square and I gave my camera to the kids to take pictures.
It was all so beautiful.

5. Emily hosted a wonderful lunch for us. It was good to visit.
We watched afternoon conference with them also.

6. Well, so much for listening to conference on the way home.:) They were exhausted.
Or, this is the nap so they can play night games tonight!

7. Levi and Chloe - It was so wonderful to have them here.

8. Highlight of the day - singing around the piano. Thank you.
Yes, my funeral song was practiced. It still needs more practice, so I can't die yet.
But it sounded beautiful!

 9. More songs to sing. - Thanks Josh for playing.

10. Then they slowly left the piano and found a game to play.

11. Traveling up to David and Amanda's to see Robert get baptized.
Caleb came with us and we read, "Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane."
It's one of Grandma's favorite books.

12. Congratulations Robert!

13. Their growing family!

14. Caleb and Robert

15. Cousin Teresa(Peter's age) and her husband Jeremy. They live in Tremonton and
it was their daughter Lily's wedding. It was outside and it was a gorgeous day.

16. Lilly and her husband Dylan - They were a beautiful couple.

17. While in thatcher, we drove past the house we lived in while we were waiting for
our Riverside home to be built. Do you remember living there?

18. We had picked up Katie and Marrie on our way home from Evanston.
We had so much fun Saturday night and all day Sunday.
Next time we hope Cory can come with them. She wasn't feeling well.
We decided to have homemade pizza for dinner.
19.  Noelle made a perfect pizza.
20.  Marri's masterpiece. Considering it fell when we put it in the oven,
it made quite a good recovery.

21. Isaac and Caleb with Mia and Colleen in the background.

22. Zander looking up at me:)

23. Of course, we had a marvelous skit.

24. And we made Katie's pillowcase.

25. Sunday just before they left we had Colleen's caramal recipe and apples.
We ate the whole recipe!

26. It was such a wonderful weekend. Thank you Marion, Jared, and Isaac for
the work in the garden you did. It was such a good weekend.

27. That night we visited with John's family. It was so good to see them all.
Little Ruth Ellen is growing so big.

28. Doing grapes with Chris's kids. (Tuesday)
They were good helpers. We split them in half and got all
their jars filled in just a few hours.
MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK it still true.

We have sure played hard and worked hard the past 2 weeks.
Life is so good.I have had such a variety with canning, conference, family
gatherings, and being at the temple.
I have found so much piece in the temple lately. Truly, there is
not a more peaceful and comforting place than the temple.
Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and love each one individually.
May we draw closer to them and be strengthened.
