Cierra graduates, Oliva baptized, AZ trip, June 2015

1. Cierra graduates from Seminary - May 24th

2. Beautiful inside and out!

3. Memorial Day at Grandma and Grandpa Capener's grave in Riverside.
Front: Bekah, Olivia, Mallory, Caleb, Chris & Mia. Back:Grandma,
Mike & Emily, Peter, Noelle, Tammy & Cierra with Zander, Josh.

4. We then went up to Whitney cemetery and then up to see U. Marc.
His rhubarb is twice the size of ours, and he shared a lot with us.
He has  a huge knife he whacks off the leaves with one slice.

5. Then we went to Casper's ice cream on the way home

6. Little Ameliea is growing so much. She rolls her tongue and chews on it, which is a Capener trait.

7. Tuesday night we went to Bountiful and had dinner with Marion, Cory, and Kate.
We had such a fun evening of food (Madarin) and visiting, but I failed to take any pictures.
On Wednesday, we had promised Ned and Rosie that we would work their evening shift at the temple for them and then they took ours while we are in Arizona.
8. So we went to band that day to hear Josh play in the band. They sounded very good.

9. Saturday was Virginia Potter's funeral. I still can't believe she is gone.
We had a life-long friendship. We didn't stay in touch enough the last 5 years.

10. In the afternoon we helped Daniel and Ellen finish cleaning their old apartment and
then went up to see their new one on campus. It is so much bigger. Here they are
in their kitchen.

11. That night we went to McCammon, Idaho to Rick Hood's daughter Kristi's reception.
It was good to see them and I'm really glad we went.

12. We had terrible wind on Monday and Tuesday. Tom's kids are helping to clear all the branches and leaves away. I didn't get the camera quick enough. We have a huge pile in the back.

13. Cierra graduates from High School on Thursday. It's still hard to believe, but
it is just the beginning!

14. We left after the temple on Friday and drove to St. George to see Olivia
get baptized on Saturday. It was so good to see them, and Olivia
looked like an angel. Olivia and Peter.

15. Katrina and Olivia in front. Peter, Tammy and Bekah.

16. We left St. George about 6:30 and got to Paul's about 1:00 a.m. our time and midnight Arizona
time. Audrey was still up and waiting for us.
The next morning Chloe couldn't wait to show me her "Magic Tree House" journal.
It is so cute. Lacey reads her the books and she finds pictures on the internet about what the
book talked about and she draws pictures while she listens. It is so cute.
There is a good idea for all you grandkids who are reading Magic Tree House books.
There are quite a few of you:)

17. Sunday night walk

18. Making pillow cases with our Arizona kids. Chloe is squeezing the foot peddle while
I am guiding the pillow case.
19. Sammi is turning her pillow case inside out.

20. A Krispy Kreme opened up in the town next to Buckeye, so
we had to try it out. Chloe, Sammi, Levi.

21. Sammi, Levi, Chloe at bedtime with our new pillow cases.

I love you all very much. It's been so good to continue spending time
with so many family members.
Las Monday during the terrible winds, My first cousin's son and his family, Lance Capener had
a terrible accident at Bear Lake and he and his two daughters and a friend were all
killed. I know I have sent you articles and thank you so much for all of your prayers.
I had a long talk with Suzanne Capener (sister to Lance) and there have been a lot of tender
mercies involved. He older brother gave Kathy (Lance's wife) a beautiful blessing while she
was in the Logan hospital. Many wonderful things were said and I'm sure it brought a lot of comfort.
It was their time to go, and their son still has a mission to fulfill in this life. He if 17.
The Lord is in charge, and when we know that, there is a peace that can carry
us through any trial.
I love you all very much. We are so blessed.
