Pillowcase, Evanston, Baby Chicks, Spencer & John concert, 2015

1. I sewed with Caleb the day after Easter. He had fun making his John Deer Tractor pillowcase.
He also made a Cars pillow case for Zander.

2. Monday afternoon I went up to Evanston to spend a few days with David and Amanda.
I used to think twins would be twice as much work as one baby, but I've changed my mind.
Twins and three times as much work. David and Amanda are doing a wonderful job of taking care of those little babies and still spending time with the other kids. David was home for Spring break.
This is such a cute picture of the two of them together. The parents will have to say which is which.
Just when I think I can tell them apart I get them mixed up.

3. Taking Matthew (in yellow), Robert (blue), and Alaina (pink) to story hour in Evanston.

4. Back home again and Spencer and John had a choir concert. Spencer is making the clip clop sound of the horses with a pineapple with a coconut in it. The concert was great.

5. John is in the red kerchief. They sang a medley of songs from
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

6. Saturday we truly became farmers. Here is Dad on his John Deer riding
lawn mower. It's something we have always said we would get. Now that all the lawn mowers have grown and moved, it was time.

7. We also became grandparents to 17 little chickens. We have three Sussex chickens, the spotted one you see and many more. I can't wait for good, farm fresh eggs.

8. There are two blue candles, one pink candle, and two white ones. Same color has to represent the same number. What combination of numbers that equal 67 (Grandpa's age) can you think of.
Dad said, Blue candles were 30 each, the pink was 5, and the white ones 1.

9. Baby chicks!

10. Kaden's "Arrowhead"

Spring is a reminder of new life and hope. I am very thankful to my Savior, Jesus Christ, for giving me the opportunity to choose and being there when I could have chosen better.
I hope you enjoyed conference and gained what you needed from it. I love you all.
