May, 2019, Trips, Mother's Book, Concerts & Graduations

A note about last month and this month:
I've been working on Mother's history in every
spare moment that I have had. I've had to go
by memory for April and May and most of June's
posts. Here goes this month:

1. Rob and Dad - It's sure nice to be closer and
see him every once in awhile. We're working on
the same floor in the CHL. We're working on Global
Histories. If you go to Gospel Library app and at the bottom
choose "Church History" and you'll see them.

2. Cambria loves the new kittens!

3. Caleb, Max, and Grandpa finish up the fence around the pasture.

4. We went with a group on 4 days worth of lectures
and trips in conjunction with May 10. It was very fun.

5. Out in Kelton. It is supposed to be the first marker
to figure Longitude and Latitude west of the Mississippi.

6. We toured Eli Anderson's wagon collection. It
was very interesting.

7. A John Deer one. We had to take a picture for Caleb.

8. Little granckids:)

9. Ellen had a Mother, Daughter homemaking night to
share talents. She read her Jade Cabbage story from
the Ensign. I'm very proud of her.

10. We had a meeting in the Assembly Hall on
Temple Square. The stained glass windows were
so beautiful.

11. Every moment not taken up by other things
I've worked on Mother's history. Even cataract
surgery didn't get in my way - too much.

12. We babysat for Joe and Tesha to go away for a few
days for their 10th anniversary. Linda was better than I
thought she'd be, but she was sure happy to see Dad and Mom.

13. The Kingston's have restored the old Washakee
church. It looks really nice.

14. This is Steven, he's first chair, at his concert. The whole
orchestra concert was amazing. We're very proud
of you, Steven. Keep it up!

15. We went to Arizona to see Elise graduate. To our
surprise, Nikki pulls up in the driveway. She has her
learner's permit! I don't know where time flies.
We had car trouble and came home in a new car.

16. Elise's graduation. We're sure proud of her and all that
she has done.  Lacey, Elise, Paul.

17. Grandpa, Elise, Grandma

18. Levi has sure learned a lot. He says many words and
is beginning to learn how to read. Lacey is helping him.

19. Sammi swimming. The girls are sure happy to be back
in the pool. They swim all summer long.

20. Levi is coming down the big slide with his hands up
high in the air.  Last year he didn't go down, and this
year he went over and over again and loved it.

21. Back home and it's Katrina's birthday!

22. And Olivia's birthday the next day.
We have such amazing grand children.

23. The next morning Marri graduated. We were
sure proud of all her accomplishments in high school.
24. Dad, Marri, Me

25. The next night it was Noelle's graduation, and
Mike, being a teacher, was there also.

26. The next night was Noelle's graduation.
We're also very proud of her. Here is Mia,
Chris, Noelle.

27. Noelle and Katrina. We're very proud of her, and
she was off to California at 2:00 the next morning for her
summer job at the Boy Scouts on Catalina Island.
We are so blessed with such beautiful granddaughters.

28. Zander graduated from Kindergarton and
this is his picture.

29. And Levi also graduated from Kindergarton.
I wonder what it will be likewhen these two
graduation

30. The next night it was Katie's graduation. It
was so fun to see her graduate. We're so thankful she
is part of our family. This is Dad, Katie, and Mom.

31. She looks very happy!!

32. We went out for breakfast afterward and Jared
wasn't hungry, so he ordered a cinnamon roll.
It filled his whole plate!

33. Daniel loves little kittens, and I think the
feeling is mutual.

34. Bekah helped write some of the scenes in such a
wonderful one-act play. I don't know when I have laughed so
hard, and cried at the ending. I learned a lot.
Friend, Bekah, Olivia, and director.

It's been such a wonderful month. I can't believe our grandchildren
are growing so fast; four more to graduate. I don't how our
life is going so fast. We're so very thankful for the wonderful
journey here on this life that we are having. We are so blessed
to have each other and all of you children, spouses, and grandchildren.
Life truly is good. I love you all.
